This boat is in great condition and if you are looking to own your own Weta Dinghy you can stop looking now.

It’s complete with a UK made Vandercraft combi road base specifically built to accomodate the Wētā launching trolley and comes with a lighting board also included in the sale.

Also included is what appears to be a brand new unused set of Splashguards which are still in their plastic bag.

Hulls

While the boat hasn’t been used for a number of years it has been kept under some well made custom covers. After any dust was washed off it’s obvious everything is in great condition.

Floats also sleeved in to position without any issue and the tramp material looks good.

There are two custom made covers - one ‘floats in’ all over cover and one ‘central hull only’ cover which covers from mid-foredeck to the transom. The all over cover is showing signs of use as can be expected, but beneath the seasonal dirt and grime the heavy canvas material is remarkably good with no signs of failing - a bucket of soap and water, and a good brush and this cover will come up ready to simply re-waterproof and possibly use for a good few seasons to come.

Mast

The all carbon mast is also in great condition and easily sleeves together without any signs of binding together. The sail raises easily within the mast track and all halyards are in great condition and show little, to no signs of use.

Shrouds are stainless steel and like most of this package appear to have plenty of life left in them as they haven’t had much use.

Sails

It has a full compliment of sails including an additional furling jib.

Don’t be fooled by the the original mono-film Gastra sails. They have all been looked after impeccably and are as new, so offer plenty of good sailing ahead. The Blue Gennaker still has a lovely crisp feel and is fitted with a continuous furler system for ease of use.

The current owner has kept all the sails in their individual sail bags and stored them all in two UK made Rig-Tubes which are also available to the new owner as part of the package.

Mainsheet, Jib Sheets and Gennaker sheets are all in good condition and would only need changing if you wanted to personalise them to your own requirements.

Mainsheet and Downhaul hardware is Ronstan.

This is a ready to sail package and the future owner may need only to do some basic bimbling to personalise it and make it their own, or simply take it to your club or favourite launching spot as is and go sailing.
